  Overview

Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality papers representing original results in all areas of multisensor fusion and integration for intelligent systems. Papers must be submitted through the conference website and will be rigorously peer-reviewed and evaluated by at least two referees for technical content.

Authors are invited to submit full papers in PDF format through the conference website. Submitted papers must describe original work not published elsewhere. Accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of the authors to appear in the conference proceedings.

The contributed paper is to allow the Technical Program Committee to evaluate its suitability for inclusion in the conference. It is therefore important to describe precisely in the opening paragraph what is the new contribution reported in the manuscript. The text and supporting figures should clearly describe the specific results that have been achieved.

Selected papers will be published in IEEE MFI 2008 Proceedings and Springer-Verlag of Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE). One of the best papers will be awarded with prize and certificate.

Important Dates:
Due date for proposals of special session February 1, 2008
Deadline for submissions May 1, 2008
Notifications of acceptance May 30, 2008
Final manuscrtipt submission June 30, 2008

Please note the following indications before submitting a full paper; Authors are required to submit their papers in PDF format, preferably with a resolution no less than 600 dpi. Papers should be in a 2-column format on 21cm x 29.7cm A4 size paper. The margins should be 2 cm on the sides, and 2.85 cm on the top and bottom. Text is to be typed single spaced in at least 10 point Times Roman (or a font closely resembling this type), with 12 point interline spacing. The first page of the paper, centered on the top below the top margin, should include the paper title, the authors' names, their affiliations and email addresses. Four to six pages are allowed for each paper, including figures and illustrations. The maximum page limit is 8 pages with extra payment for the additional pages.

Authors will be notified about the disposition of their papers by May 30, 2008. Final papers, reflecting any minor changes recommended by the reviewers, will be due by June 30, 2008. At least one of the authors must register for the conference in order for the paper to be included in the conference proceedings.
